Our boat is a remodelled "gozzo". The gozzo is a style of boat of Arabic origin born in the Oriental Mediterranean and brought to Italy by Italian sailors who visited these ports. Originally these vessels were powered by oars or sails, in the 30's the first motor powered gozzi were introduced. The gozzo perfectly combined endurance and speed with beauty thanks to the skilled craftsmanship which has become a valuable artistry passed down generations. The mighty gozzo has withstood the test of time and to this day is considered the one of finest boats in the Mediterranean.
